Do you know why the body rejects it sometimes? What are the symtoms for migration and rejection? I havent got mine done yet. And im really nervous. Has any body died by getting there belly button pierced professionally?? And how bad does it hurt when you get it done??

If you are allergic to the silver, your body will have a bad reaction. My mom could only wear titanium rings, because she would break out if she wore silver or nickel. I've never heard of getting migranes from it though.

A ton of people have their belly buttons pierced, and if a professional does it, you will be fine.

Infections do happen and I suppose can kill you, but as long as you take good care of your piercing, you will be fine. I cleaned mine in the shower, and didn't touch it outside of the shower for like, three months. After about five, I changed the ring and everything healed up great. I'm sure the chances of dying from it are very, very low.

It doesn't hurt to get it done either. They clamp it, stick the needle through, put the ring in, and your all done. After clamping it takes less than 2 minutes I'd say. I honestly didn't think it hurt at all, because the clamp basically cuts of your circulation there, and you can't really feel anything except a pinch. It also may be sore for a few days after too.

I think you should do it. =]
I doubt you will regret it as long as a genuine professional does it, and you take good care of it.
