My hair sucks!

Question Posted Saturday April 15 2006, 11:38 am

Okay, so im having HUGE issues with my hair. I got it cut real short around Febuary without thinking, oh shit, my hairs naturally REALLY curly. And its not neat curls, theyre very fuzzy and frizzy, so everyday i straighten my hair. I hate to straighten my hair, big waist of time everyday. Also, its killing my hair. So since summers comin along , so is very bad humitidy. With straightened short hair, its ganna look like crap. So Im planning on growing it out, but so do you know something I can put on my hair before or after straightening that will help it not like complelty die when i straighten it? And make it feel healthier. I know theres balms and stuff, but i dont know which one acually works.

Straighteners are lovely, but only with the proper protection. Like sex. =] Anyway, I use this stuff by Pureology called "SUPERSTRAIGHT" Relaxing serum. Here's a link for a picture of it >> [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) This stuff is GOD! I put it in my damp hair before a blowdry (only a TINY drop! For short hair, I'd reccomend using something a little bigger than a pea!) and then I put some in my hair in layers as I straighten. But if you have short hair, maybe when you blow dry it (if you blow dry with a brush and take your time) then it will go straight.. because this stuff works very VERY well. It'll also reduce static/frizzies. Good luck!!
