If you are making yourself throw up - you are bulemic. Eating disorders are very common and very serious. I bet that you don't fully realize what you are doing to yourself. You are still growing and you aren't allowing your body to get the nutrition it needs to fully develop. You could also be damaging organs in your body. Many people with eating disorders end up with heart disease.
If that isn't enough to scare you into seeking help - know that you are completely destroying your metabolism. When you finally DO beat this thing, your body will gain so much weight and it will be hard to get it off because you are conditioning your body to be in starvation mode - which means your body is being conservative in burning off calories in order for you to survive. You could be setting yourself up for a lifetime of fighting obesity.
I know you said you are scared to talk to your parents. Frankly, I'm shocked that they can't LOOK at you and see that there is a problem. If you really can't bear to talk to them, go to your couselor at school and tell her what you just told me. She has been trained to help and will be able to get you the help you need AND she can even mediate with your family if you feel that would work best.
Do I know who you are? I can't think of any kiddos that hang out here that appear to have a eating disorder. If you want to im me, I'll be happy to talk to you. I understand about this better than you realize. Im me and I'll explain. I don't want to get into it on this advice page though. If you and I are close, and you feel comfortable, maybe I can talk to your parents for you. Just know that you have several options. You took the first step by asking for help - now follow through with this and get help before you really hurt yourself.
All my love, Mrs S ]
