Can anyone that's actually done home school tell me what it's like? is it easier than public school, is it more work? etc. any other advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated!

Well I was homeschooled for first semester this year so i'll tell you the pros and cons of it vs public school..

Sleep in late
Easier to do homework/tests
You get to work at your own pace eg: if you wanted you could finish a class in 2-4 weeks and you could get in more classes before senior year
Better job hours

No friends.. til after they get out of school or weekends
You get bored quickly
No cute boys/or girls!!

If your a fast worker then the teachers will make you work slower [the same pace as everyone else]

[P.S i'd say public school is less work BUT only because you finish it during a whole year as to finishing it all in a matter of weeks at homeschool]

I was home school for a while this year, and I found it is actually a lot easier just to stick with being in school. Being homeschooled is a lot harder because sometimes you just need a teather to explain something to you, and no one else can really do it. Everything is just a whole lot harder to do, and being at home its a lot harder to motivate yourself to actually wake up and do the work everyday. At school you kind of have to do your work. Hope I helped!
