I was thinking of possibly going with side sweep bangs and having the rest of my hair cut into layers.
The problem is, every time I go to have layers done, I end up with something different (even though I ask for the same thing).
I was VERY happy with my first cut. It was sort of feathered and looked terrific even when left straight (my hair is very fine and it also made it appear very thick and full).
I want this back but I've been unable to find a photo of it to show to my stylist.
If you have any suggestions on layers (or bangs) PLEASE post pictures. I'm hoping I'll come across the first cut I had but if not, a few great suggestions will help as well.
CheshireKat answered Saturday April 1 2006, 8:39 pm: well, several things need to be taken into consideration here. first, are you a boy or a girl (or does any-gender hairstyle work for ya)? second, do you have long, medium, or short hair? third, what's the shape of your face? i know it seems kind of silly, but your face shape actually affects what kind of hairstyles work with your face, especially if you're thinking of getting side sweep bangs.
