I tend to mess with my eyelashes. When i'm not thing I touch them, or start seperating them with my pencil. It's not serious, but I wanna know..how long does it usualy take to break a habit...and what should I do about it?

I have an issue with constantly biting and picking at my nails. I tried everything from "Biteoff" to bandaids. But then my friend told me to make them pretty and I'll probably break the habit. She took me to get my first ever manicure and it worked! Now my nails are perfectly non-picked. This isn't really answering you question, but the best way to break it is to put on mascara. If you've never worn it before I suggest you start with Great Lash by Maybelline. If comes in a pink bottle with a Green cap. It's about 3$-4$ at drugstores. Best of luck!

OMGG i used to do this when i was 10! it kind of is a habit, and a habit usually takes 1 week to break if you don't pull them for a week. just don't pull them because it looks discusting like u have a disease or something, so just think about how u would look without any eyelashes. if your a girl, get some mascara that adds volume(makes them look fuller) to your eyelashes like maybeline voluminus(sp?) well good luck with it!

dear bad habbit,

it may not be a habbit...but if it is then yah aobut 3 weeks or so. but there is also a diesease that people have (i forgot whast its called) whne they like pull out there eyelashes when they dont relize it. so this my be the frist signs of that comming on, but in sure its not for its not a common diesease. so just try to kep your self ocupied and when you feel like playing with yor eyelashes think of soemthing else todo ((not another bad habit, just like doodle or somethnig))

I read that breaking or making a habit takes 21 days (3 weeks) to become permanent. So every time you notice that you're messing with your eyelashes, stop and go back to whatever you were doing..
