But there are no more math conferences my school has to offer for the rest of the year! They said "this is the last math conference." And he lives 80 miles away! I don't know anyone who talked to him. And next year he'll be at a high school at god-knows-where and will be too old to qualify for this particular conference. I will definitely not see him again. What a shame I didn't get his AIM while I still saw him. How do I get over him? The guys at my private school are really not my type and not into me anyway.

well i've seen this happen several times actually, ask the principal of his school for his number. one of my teachers did that in high school. she called the school and said she had a crush on the guy and they gave it to her. if you really like him, call him. you have nothing to lose. he lives far away so even if he thinks it was weird, you dont have to see him the next day. once you call him once, you can ask for is sn and thats out of the way.
buttt if you really want to get over him, just look for other people, put him behind you like it was just a little thing way back in the past. <3
