I read that every person needs a certain amount of calories every day to function properly (just to live, and these will be burned off because they are used to live). If you eat more than this ammount, you will keep however many calories more you consume. What I was asking, is that if I eat less than this amount, does it mean that I will be decreasing calories, and losing weight?

if you like malnutrition yea. So aka what im saying is your going to get sick if you dont eat what your body needs. The easiest way to do it is to go to a nutritionist and ask. I would say a good way to lose weight is to join a karate. This way you learn disipline and all that good stuff while getting in shape. Disipline as in physically disiplined.
