i like a somewhat geeky guy
okay there is this guy named Marcus in my math class that i like.i really want to ask him out,but i dont want him to tell all my friends and make me a huge loser.and yes he is a little geeky.he has friends like him, he's not a loner. how do i ask him out? plz respond

I'm sorry, but you're really shallow.
You want to date him, but you're afraid of what your friends might think? Wow, that's pretty lame.
Ask him out, and don't give a crap what other people think. If you like him, none of that should matter. And, the label of a geek was completely unnecessary.

if you really do like him and your sure that it would work then dont be afraid of what your friends think of it. if they are true friends then thay will respect your decision and be with you all the way. try not to rush into anything though, as its best to get to know the guy first properly. try inviting him to a get together with some of yours and his friends where you can socialize and expand your relationship or even just arrange a study date. if you then do decide that you want him to consider being your boyfriend, then open up to him about it and trust he wants it too.
