How do you make a layout for your advice column?

Click on Profile Settings and change your colors. On that one page (profile settings) they have a link to a bunch of backgrounds, sorry I forgot what it is called but you click on there and there are a whole bunch of backgrounds and layouts to choose from!

Click on Column Settings and change it from there. You can customize your buttons, background, et cetera.
You can take a look at my column to have an idea of what your options are because I believe I customized pretty much everything possible.
