science dna project

i just got assigned a project to construct a three dimensional nodel of a DNA molecule and im allowed to use any materials i want but i need somehelp coming up with ideas like the teacher showed us a sample with wire and these big beads representing everything so i wanted to do something with wire but not beads it can be edible though i thought of using life saver sice they have the hole in the middle but im not sure if thats such a good idea
please help

you probably can't do that exactly but those are juss some ideas. string & beads would probably be a good idea er different plastics & metals.
