Friend vs. Love

Question Posted Monday January 23 2006, 4:47 pm

I have had this really great friend for a while now. She is very shy, and has just announced to her crush she liked him, for the first time ever. I used to like him too, and now I sort of have the feeling thah he likes me back. What should I do?

Decide whose feelings are more important- yours or your friends, and if someone you 'used to like' (rather than some raging hardcore crush you've had for 5 years) is worth upsetting her.

Also, what I suggest that you do is to not pursue him at all. If he truly does like you, he will start to be extremely obvious about going after you and it will be basically unavoidable... then your friend will see that it's him who chose to like you and it'll make it seem less like you "stole" him from her.
