Question Posted Sunday January 22 2006, 5:56 pm

17/f
I don't know what to get my boyfriend of 4 months for valentines day. I cant get him a shirt because I already got him that for his birthday. I was thinking chocolates.. but is that enough? If that's not enough.. should I make him dinner? Should it be all fancy with candles and everything? Or should it just be like eating dinner in front of the TV? Any other ideas for what I should get him? Thanks

Perhaps chocolates & dinner? You don't have to go all out, but something a bit fancier than a tv dinner would be cute. After all, the way to a man's heart is through his stomach! It might be cute if you can get everyone out of the house & cook dinner together; in my experience it's a ton of fun and of course, cheap!

Well, since I happen to be a dude, I'll tell you what I would like; maybe it will help you some. I'd really like for my girlfriend to make me dinner and invite me over to eat with her and watch a movie or something. If you did that and gave him something, like chocolate or whatever, he should be plenty impressed; at least I would be. Well, I hope I helped you. Peace out.

What does he like? This would be much easier with some detail's about his interests and personality. In general though, anything you can do alone together is a good choice. Dinner is a good choice, especially if you make something he really likes. No need to be ultra fancy about it. If you'd rather not cook then think about what he enjoys most. Does he like sports? Get him something from his favorite team or player. Is he a music nut? Grab a new CD or make one of your own with his favorite songs. The possibilities are truly limitless.

If you can leave me some details in my inbox I'll come up with a few more specific ideas for you.
