1 of my good guy friends .. who ive been thinking of asking to a semi formal dance at my school .. always tells me how much he hates dances, and dressy clothes and stuff. I wanna ask him, but i wanna see first if he would go to a dance at all. Should i be like .. if a girl asked yu from (name of my school) to the dance .. would you go?

hey i dont think that you should be like if girl asked you to the dance would u go? i think that you should come right out and ask him. will you go to the semi formal thing with me? i think that maybe just meaybe he was kind of hinting you to ask him. i may not be right but i hope that this helps.

No if you say "If ____ asks you, are you going to go?" I think it'll make it too obvious! Kinda like "If I were to ask you out, would you say yes?" Haha. I think you should just ask him, and tell him before he says his answer is that you'll understand if he doesnt want to go because of the 'semi formal' thing. He's a good friend right? So dont be scared to ask him. Sorry if I didnt help much.
