One of my best girl friends (susan), and one of my good guy friends (conor) and I are all really good friends. I always flirted with conor, and so did susan, but neither of us liked him. However, conor just asked susan out, and she was really excited. I pretended to be excited for her, but inside i secretly was jealous, and even a little sad. I don't think I'm jealous that Conor likes Susan, but I think I just really want a boyfriend. Any suggestions to make me feel better? Thanks (14/f)

You may very well feel this way for a little while. The important thing is just what you're doing already; keep your feelings in perspective, and don't make any rash decisions based on them. There'll be somebody for you. In the mean time, just be patient. [ extton's advice column | Ask extton A Question ]
