putting music into ipod

itunes on my computer wont open at all so is there any way that i can download songs into my ipod? because right now i have no songs on my ipod and i am desperately needing to find a solution

nope the only way you can put music on your ipod is from itunes.

you can only use itunes. did you try using the cd that came with your ipod?? if not try that, & what you can do is try reinstalling itunes. you can do that by going to start, control panel, add er remove programs & then reinstall it. if not then it might be your computer.
