hi jenna i'm 14 and i just got my period for the first time. i'm so stupid i was too scared to tell my mom so i just used the pads she gave me to bring to camp in case i got it there but now my period has come and gone and i feel like an idiot because i couldn't get up the nerve to tell her. any advice?? :\

just go and tell her.
ive had my period for over 2 years now, and it is no big deal to a mom. in fact, she'll be overjoyed when she hears the news.
if she gave you pads knowing you would get your period soon, and you used them already, she'll notice they are gone. she probably already knows.
just go up to her and tell her!
