Plug your adapter into a different UBS thing. That should work! If not, go to apple.com and look under trouble shooting!

To transfer your music in your itunes into your ipod(well at least for my ipod) you just click on the song you want in your library and drag it into the ipod icon that should b there if you have your ipod plugged into your computer. Idk if that makes sence. Hope that helps. I just got my ipod today and I had the exact same question. Thats wut my friend told me 2 do, and it works.
much luv,

Is the iPod plugged into the correct USB thing? If so, the iPod should be listed under sources. If not, you should try uninstalling iTunes, and re-installing it. Hope I helped, please rate me.
