How long?

I keep making popcorn but every time it burns!
We have a popcorn button but it keeps gettin burnt! how long should i put it in on high power?

ps. i know 2 this is a stupid Question but i need help sorry

If you have really high temperature on your microwave, you should put the popcorn for 1-2 min. and wait for them to start popping.If you don't have high temperature, you can leave the popcorn for about 5 min.
