I hate being in that situation. When you want to go out with them but you dont want to lose that great relationship you have. If i were you i would tell him you really like him as a friend and that you dont want to hurt his feelings or anything but you want to stay friends. And tell him how you feel about your relationship and how you would feel if that got taken away from you. Other than that all i can basically say is.. follow your heart and do what feels right to you. If you REALLY like him hey! go for it! But if you dont want to lose what you have together i would talk it over. I hope i helped! love you lots!
