Hey =) Okey, so now that i downloadded The Gimp, how do i change the hair colour of a pic? Ive tried everything, but i wanna change from blonde to black and with the oaint brush you can see that its painted it doesn't look real :/ Help please ? Thank you. =D

In the GIMP window where you choose the tools, there should be a drop down list called mode, and by default it should be set to "Normal". Choose "Color" and paint what you want. If it doesn't show up, use "Dodge" or "Burn". You can also change the opacity to make it more subtle.

A good way to avoid affecting the rest of the picture is to select the area that you want to colour with the "Select continuous regions" tool first.
