And I know they were something to fit your specific need, but do you feel they helped you with your problem? And do you feel that once you began those pills, that losing weight was easy? It sorta was my idea, I went to my main doctor first to see if he could help me with anything, and I found out I had an oversized thyroid. Yes, it was pills. Of course they helped me - that's what stopped me all these years from losing weight. It's because I had an underactive thyroid and taking those pills made it smaller, and that's what made me lose weight. Of course it was EASIER. I'm not saying it was easy, I lost 10 lbs taking those pills, but that was one of the side effects I was definitely willing to take. After that, I had to diet & exercise like crazy, just like any other person. It was just a lot easier seen as, I didn't have to work my ass off to lose weight, like I thought I needed to.
Well, at the nutritionist, I basically just went in there. They took my weight & height. They felt around my stomach and my neck, (thyroid.) They asked me how many times a day I ate, how many times a day I exercised. Mostly what I ate and stuff. They took my blood. & After all of that they talked with my mom & I, about exercising, and how many times I should be exercising, and how much I should be eating. She gave us a few books about losing weight, and recipes & stuff like that. [ naimee's advice column | Ask naimee A Question ]
