so i have been friends with this girl(emily) since 1st grade. all of a sudden she has been hanging out with the "popular girls" in our grade. i dont want to brag, but i am prettier and nicer than her, so why dont they wanna be friends with me also. if i cant be friends with them, how can i stay friends with my friend emily?

Maybe she acts different around them to fit in, so that's why they hang out with her. You should start hanging out with Emily while she's hanging out with them and maybe they'll become friends with you too. If that doesn't work, just keep hanging out with Emily as much as possible. If she starts to change, talk to her about it.
