I just made a new friend from volleyball at school, my best friend is jealous because now i also hang out with my new friend. They both know each other. she says i ignore her but never do...sometime it feels like she's the one ignoring me like shes mad at me. We even had a fight about the problem just yesterday but i dont think the problem is solved because she still acts different around me. Its like she's changed in a bad way. How can solve this problem if she's never up front about how she feels? How can i know if the problem is solved?<<I mean she always says things are fine but really they aren't!
Its like She can have other friends but i cant
I rate high, unless your mean

Ivy921 answered Sunday November 20 2005, 5:41 pm: She is probably insecure about losing you as a friend, which may not be how it is coming across, but that is probably what it is. Still, its not always the easiest fixing the problem when it feels like your friend is holding out on you on what is really going on. I think just keep on being her friend, call her and make plans with her and only her once in a while. Talk about normal stuff like what is going on in your life and ask about hers. I think talking and talking and asking what's wrong isn't really going to help matters. She'll probably come around, if not... well maybe she wasn't the person you thought she was. But i bet within a week or so it should be ok.
Good luck and keep me posted. [ Ivy921's advice column | Ask Ivy921 A Question ]
