okay so here's the thing...i really like this guy..i mean like REALLY like him..but im a freshman and he's a sophmore. In my school it's not that uncommon to have an upperclsssmen go out with a freshmen, but i'm afraid he is too out of my leauge. i mean, im a cheerleader and not to be like full of myself but i know im not "unpopular" but i am SOOO afraid of regection. i talk to him and all but not for more than like a minute at a time..IM SCARED TO TELL SOMEONE! what if he doesn't like me and thinks im like a freak..here is my question...am i waisting my time drooling over this kid or should i stick to it and maybe something good will come out of it...SOMEONE HELP ME!

AlwAYZarOUnd00 answered Sunday November 6 2005, 9:29 pm: Let me tell you my story...I'm also a freshmen cheerleader at Greeley Central.. my boyfriend is a senior and he is one of the more " popular "...his name is Kyle Kadavy...last year in 8th grade... my middle school and the high school down the street did track practice together... me and my friend Brooke totally drooled over him 24/7...i even tripped over a hurdle once because i wasn't paying attention (i was paying attention just...to the wrong thing hehe)... now this guy is... to put it lightly .. gorgeous...a senior...and i'm a freshmen i've been like in love with him since i was a little girl.. i can remember seeing him at the pool and stuff but never had the guts to talk to him.. i thought he'd think i was some stupid little girl...the first day of school... he asked me out... turns out he always " checked me out" in track as well.. and he didn't know i knew who he was!! just think if i would have made a move sooner!! don't waste any more time... ask him !! make a move.. don't fear rejection!!!!...i really hope my "story" got to you!!

Try to become his friend before you go for anything else. Be there for him and help him when he has problems. He might fall for you after a while.
