i get really bad ingrown hairs when i shave my bikini area. they get really bad and sore. im suppose to go out with a guy tonight but i dont wanna do anything because idk he'll probably get weirded out. i dont know what too do! how do i get rid of these?!? without scaring and stuff. and what do i do about toinght ... =/

Tonight, its too late. Next time you shave, lather up with shaving lotion/gel. Shave slowly and carefully. Use ONLY COLD WATER when the shower is on. Hot water opens your pores and allows for these ingrown hairs. After you have finished shaving, make sure you use a sentitive skin lotion on the area.

If I were you and you all do "something" then I would explain to the guy what you just told me. If he gets weirded out, then he's not the type of guy you want to be with anyway. Just so you know, ingrown hairs are caused when the hairs curl back under the skin. Avoid ingrowns by exfoliating daily & using a glycolic acid body lotion. If you have a chronic case of ingrown hairs, try Tend Skin , an over-the-counter lotion for ingrown hairs, applying it in the morning and at night. The bumps should disappear within a couple days. Again for tonight, if you don't feel like telling him, refrain from the sex right now. Hope this helps. :)
