i am amish. When i was 16 i had the choice of coming into the modern world and never speaking to my family again or staying amish for the rest of my life. oviously, i chose to come into the modern world. I am now 23 a just had a beautiful set of twin girls. A week ago i ran into my mother when visiting the country on vacation. My mother blew up at me and became extreamly mad at me for leaving th amish life that i grew up in. (i had not seen her since i was 13) She then proceded to spit on my children and claim that they were sinned for life. She also treatened to kill them. I know my mother would never do anything like this (she is very religious) but one of my children has gone missing and i am very worried. Should i tell the police this vital information or protect my mother? I need suggestions on what to do. please help!

i say definitley call the police. your mother has no right to be threatning or harming your children. you should never think twice when someone is threatning your life or your childrens even if it might be your mother, it is still not right for her to be treating you that way. so please call the police, and i hope you find your child. i hope i helped and please call.
