I am a 7th grade girl. I have been friends with this one girl ever since 1st grade. We always talked about how much we hate the popular girls in our class. Now she started hanging out with them and is totally ignoring me. The only time she acts like herself is when I'm alone with her.What should i do?

yes, one of the usual junior high problems around this time. since ive been through it many times i kind of know how to handle it. your friend just wants to be known as someone good, and be popular just to get boys or whatever. this is what happened with my friend around me together they would be all mean to me and when she was alone she is the nicest person in the world, sit her down and tell her that something is bothering you about this, don't be afraid to throw it all out there and if she gets mad at you its okay, she will realize what she is doing wrong, and maybe after all the popular girls are nice, you never know! so either talk to her or just try hanging out with them and taggin along for a little bit, but don't be a bitch about it. tell me how everything goes!
