Hey... I was at a friend's house having dinner, and these were the people that were therer: me, my friend (*Ally), my brother (*Charlie), and my brother's friend (*Ralph), and a couple of other people.
Charlie and Ally are going to homecoming together, and they are going to dinner with Ally's family and a bunch of other people before the dance, at a restaurant out of town.
Anyways, the conversation eventually ended up being about having dinner before the homecoming dance. Ally invited Ralph to dinner with them, and he said "Sure." Well, Ally is a matchmaker kind of person who's tried to get me a date for homecoming, but I didn't want to go. So, she was suggested to me that I go with Ralph to dinner as his date.
While she was suggesting this, Ralph was pretending that he wasn't listening. He was playing his guitar and concentrating really hard. But, although I really do like Ralph, I said I didn't want to go because I was afraid that he wouldn't want to go with me.
Then, later on, when soemone asked Ralph why he wasn't going to dinner with me, he said, "She didn't want to go." Does that mean he would have went with me?
Ally's dad was there and someone (who was joking) suggested that Ralph go to homecoming with Ally's dad, and he was like, "What? No, I'm not going with him!"
My question is, does he like me? I get mixed signals alot; sometimes he ignores me and I feel like I'm kinda non-existent to him.
By the way, Ralph is a junior, and I'm a freshman. I'm also pretty quiet and shy.
