hey, i'm a fourteen year old girl and i just started at high school where there's this awesome drama program and it's awesome because i have a lot more older friends than i do my own age, which i guess is weird but.. w/e anyway.. i like this guy who's a junior & sometimes i feel like he could like me back & it's a possibility & other times i feel like he doesn't take me seriously in the sense that i'm young & things, and now i think he knows i like him which isn't really a plus.. he's still hung up on this other girl & i know i should give it time, but there are other girls moving in on him & he's very much "around" but not in the sense of hooking up, just like flirting with everyone, which isn't really a big deal, i guess.. & another question; is it really that big a deal for a freshman & a junior to go out? age is but a number, but some people say its weird.. we're friends, & we like a lot of the same things.. we didn't just meet, either, i've known him for a bit but only as acquaintences.

When you two are older it's exactly the same so no i don't see a problem. It's not weird to have friends older than you (just pointing that out) and it's good that you know about the whole him getting around. People flirt oh well it's a thing people do. If you get a sense that he may like you why don't you just ask him? Life's all about taking the risks right? Some have better outcomes than others. Just try it ok? Ask him if he likes you or if there is any chance that he would ever be interested in you or a relatoinship. Hope I helped. [ BunnyxAblaze's advice column | Ask BunnyxAblaze A Question ]
