Er, my friend has a virus in her computer that kicks her off, because instead of her DSL connecting her online, something call ENTER does instead. How do we make the problem go away? (Her computer will not reconise ENTER you see).

Does that computer have any kind of antivirus? If not, your friend really needs to install some kind of antivirus and firewall.
If that computer cannot be used to access the internet, you'll have to download the antivirus install file (if you're not buying it on a CD) on another computer and transfer it with a USB flash drive.
You should probably disconnect the internet lines on that computer until you get rid of the virus to avoid it from connecting to unknown sources and catching more viruses.
