i've been with this guy for a really long time now, and i'm finding it hard to find things to talk about. also, he is very hard to keep a conversation with.
what everyday things could i bring up? or what are some new things to talk about?

Try talking about things you did through out the day. Or even try to talk about the things he's interested, even if that means you need to brows the web for a little help. Go out and try new things. If he's into sports, go to the batting cages. If he's into music, go watch a local band or talk about his favorite CD/band.
If he's really deep and into the whole coffee shop scene, go to a Poetry night and have coffee (if you don't like coffee, they always have other drinks!).
Nothing is ever boring if your really into the guy!
