To know how to have an OBE, here is the definition so you know what will be happening to you:
An out-of-body experience (OBE) is characterized by a feeling of departing from one’s physical body and observing both one’s self and the world from outside of one’s body. The experience is quite common in dreams, daydreams, and memories, where we quite often take the external perspective. Some people experience an OBE while under the influence of an anesthetic or while semi-conscious due to trauma. Some people have an OBE while under the influence of drugs. OBEs have been induced by electrically stimulating the right angular gyrus (located at the juncture of the temporal and parietal lobes).*
This is best at night time usually after 7:30 p.m. and make sure you don't get disturbed.
Step 1
First roll up your eyes until they are fixed on a point on the forehead between the eyebrows. This will put a strain on your eyes, but it is very effective. Now with your eyes open, put your finger between your eyebrows, now move it straight out 3 inches. Now look at the tip of your finger, keep your eyes there and close them. Just keep them there the whole time, while focusing on putting vibrations in your body, this should work very well.
Step 2: After you have gotton any kind of vibrations to stay, just lay there and wait until you start to see colors/pictures in your eyelids. This will be another stage, that will get you closer to OBE. After you have reached this stage, Imagine being on top of a very high building, imagine the stars, the other buildings surrounding it, faint hum of the traffic below, the nice warm breeze on you as you walk to the edge of the building. Now keep imagining everything (this may be very hard at first, but with practice it will get alot better) as you look down, now JUMP! keep it in great detail, don't go slow, go extreamally fast! Keep repeating this exercise until the vibrations are stronger, and the colors in your eyes go away.
Step 3: Now, you should have some pretty strong vibrations. What you have to do is smooth them out by pulsating them. How you do this is you just imagine being hit in the eye, and have the surge go down to your legs, just keep doing that for every heartbeat.
Step 4: After they get smoothed. You should feel your whole body vibrating. This is the time when you say "I am floating up." You should keep reapeating that very many times. Then, imagine your self rushing in an upward motion, for example: Imagine being on an elevator, then the floor breaks through, and all you can hang on to is a rope. The elevator starts going extreamally fast upward (Make sure you keep this as frigtening as possible, but DO NOT tense yourself, if you do it will be IMPOSSIBLE to separate!)If the vibrations go away before you reach this stage, or just aren't very strong, go back and do step 2 and 3 again (this can get very frustrating at times if you have to keep going back).
If you have done everything correctly, their are many things that can happen now, but for most people, you will be beside your bed, you might not beable to see very well so affirm "Clarity Now," and your vision will improve.
Here are some things you can do, to go somewhere, you can either fly or picture in your mind where you want to go. You can meet your spirit guide by saying "I meet my spirit guide." You can go to the next level (I'm not exactly sure what this does, but you say "I move to the next level." There are many other things that you can do, expirement and try out some of your own.

And it will take many many times to do this before you get it right. It took me a month of practice before I actually had an OBE.
And when you do have one it is pretty awesome, you can actually see yourself laying down, it's like looking down on yourself.
