lost in words
hey there's this guy i really like, he likes me too, but we're both nervous and not comfortable around each other, and we never no what to say. so i need help figuring out what i should say when i talk to him on the phone. i want to have a long conversation, but i never know what to talk about. i'm really bad at this kinda stuff. please help me! i want to get to know him better, but i don't want to ask him too many questions, or anoy him or anything. what should i say to start up a conversation? here are some facts about him that might be able to start a conversation...maybe... : he plays the drums and guitar, and he knows how to play smoke on the water on the guitar(and i also play guitar so do u think i should ask him how to play smoke on the water to start up a conversation? cuz i also reallly really wana hear him play guitar and drums so should i ask him to play it infront of the phone so i can hear it? if i should, then how should i ask him?) also, i'm really shy, so i'm not good at talking on the phone to people that i like

hiya
why dont you ask him if you can meet up and he can teach you some stuff on the guitar.
that way you get to hear him play, you wont get stuck for convosation.
just go up to him or ring him... whatever feels better and say something like this:
"hi, maybe we could get together sometime and you could teach me a few things on guitar" then just take it from there. i know its easier said than done but if you are both nervous then he will be pleased you got courage to ask to hang out.
