The grief process is different for everyone; no one can say how long you should take to "get over" your break up. Sometimes crying it out is the best way. If you find that you feel better after crying, then that's how you mourn, and there's nothing wrong with that. If you don't feel better, and this keeps up for a really long time, you should either get help from a professional, or immerse yourself in a hobby. Do something to take your mind off of him and his jerk friend.

Of course not hun! When a guy breaks your heart like that it hurts, as you well know. Especially if it's only been a few weeks, just give yourself some time to recover. You'll be fine, and there's nothing wrong with you, I promise.

No its not. The healing process usually takes a while. I'm still not over my ex boyfriend and he dumped me 3 months ago! If you say his friend pushed him to dump you, I would suggest talking to him and see if he really meant it. Hope I helped!

No it's not pathetic...the feeling you had for him can always play a role cause of how deep they were. Specially if he is one who you cared for and really loved then boom just like that he hurts you.
