Is there any way you can mix songs, like, yeah by usher, and 1,2 step? Or mixes like that? Just on my computer? And if I couldn't, could I find songs that are appropriate for a catholic school dance team and are really fast? Britney spears would be great too. Thanks a lot!

ya there are ways to mix songs like those you listed on the computer. go on www.limewire.com and download the newest, basic [ free ] version. once yo uhave this downloaded, you can download any song desired within about 6 six seconds. its pretty cool, and pretty fast. onceyou have the songs you like downloaded, you go into library, and press "Enqeue" [ i have no idea what the hell that means ] and it will be part of the songs ou want to burn on a cd. then once you have all the songs you want go to "Save as .." once you have that save it in "My Documents" and name it whatever the hell you want. then open it in which ever music burner thing you have ..and listen to the damn songs !

You can do it on computer but I am not sure how much that equipment costs to be honest. I was told just the other day Best Buy could help with mixers and they are not too expensive.
As far as a high school dance goes you can hire
a professional relatively cheap that shows up with his songs--give him yours and they mix it up and do a playlist--simple--that's why they get money to do so.
As far as fast dances go Latin all of that stuff is and under-recognized. Try something that has not been done before by avoiding Britney etc. Everyone has danced her and Christina too death. Look for underground stuff as the real R&B and Blues are not Christina and Britney or Avril.
Find your roots and the cultures and roots of all your dancers and get out the underground stuff and discover music apart from what is on the radio. You will be more appreciated for being different by looking to bands and performers you have no idea about existing.
For example, not putting her down, we like her here Avril is 20 now so how much longer can people take her singing "He was a skater boi--I will see you later boy.. or Complicated?" She's grown up, fans too time to step it up and show how intelligent she is and believe me she is half of those lyrics do not amount to what she possesses. Ironically, as if you cared but if you do inside her first album has her photographed without that black makeup on her and she looks like Lisa Loeb and 95% of blues artists until you see what the record company made her wear. true influences. Big problem between artists and the people who signed them.
