This is hard to answer, since you didn't give much background information on the situation, but I'll try. If he was an asshole, reflect on that whenever you think about him. Feelings for him will eventually change, and you will move on. It is hard and shit at first, but it happens. Do things that you enjoy to do, and maybe even meet new guys. You will get over him in time.
