Proactiv

Question Posted Monday September 5 2005, 6:51 pm

I'm writing an article for my site about Proactiv and how it works (or how it doesn't work ;] )

So, people with expieriences with Proactiv, could you tell me a bit about it?
How long you used it, if it worked, any side effects if any..ect.

If you chose to reply to this with your expiriences I may or may not quote you on the article on my site.

I started using proactiv a little less than a week ago, after several visits to a determatologist and trying oral antibiotics and topical medication. The proactiv has cleared my face about 95% in less than a week. I absolutely love this product. The only bad thing about this product is that it's made my face a bit dry, despite the fact that I am also using the proactiv mosturizer. However, I prefer the mild dryness over the acne.

My mother bought me Proactiv since sixth grade and I'm in tenth grade now. So that would be about 4 years I've been using Proactiv. In the beginning I wasn't a pimply teenager yet (sixth grade) so I rarely used it. As the years went by the pimples started showing up, so I started using Proactiv regularly. It definitely worked (and still does) for me. I had no side effects. Proactiv clears up my face and I'm happy with my skin. I'm never embarrassed about pimples anymore.

BTW, I'd love to see your website.

I have been using proactive for about a month now.
It's working for me, but there are days when i just break out.
When you first use proactive you break out alot because the process of it is taking all the dirt out.
After a week or two your face starts to clear up.
There were no side effects.

I've been using proactiv for probably.. 5 months. I'm actually not very pleased with the results. It worked in the beginning, but it's really starting to disappoint me now. Like, when I'm about to start my period- it does absolutely NOTHING for me. Maybe my skin is just getting to used to it, so it's not working as well.. or something along those lines. No side effects tho. I use it twice a day, usually morning and night. Good luck with your article, hope I gave some useful info. =)
