AnneNonimous answered Sunday September 4 2005, 5:19 am: I'm an optician and I run an optometrists office so I thought I might offer some decent advice:
Chanel sunglasses are going to run you upwards of $200 plus. I would recommend finding a private optical that carries or can order in Chanel for you. The advantage to this is that you have someone who will give you future adjustments, replace screws, and honor warranties on your behalf. This is a huge benefit that buying them somewhere random like E-bay will not be able to provide for you. Quite frankly, Chanel sunglasses are only of mediocre quality. You're realy paying for the name brand, so anticipate needing some service on them in the future.
Shop around on the internet among reputable retailers, and ask your private office if they are willing to price-match. Many opticals are willing to provide this service, in order to compete with other businesses, especially the internet. This can save you big and you will get the best of both worlds. Good Luck!
