sry, not trying to be graphic but i have a q.
ok. what is like genital herpes look like. sry not trying to be gross. im not sexually active, no guy has even touched down there. i dont shave often. but i have little red bumps sometimes, and even sometimes on my leg by that area. im worried that i have it. and idk how i couldve gotten it. im young so please help. sry for the details, i just want help!

You shouldnt be embarrased it happens to alot of girls. If your young and not sexually actvie its probly just razor burn or something i wouldnt worry just dont shave for a while and see if it gets better if it doesnt you might have a yeast infection and have to go see a doctor about it. You'd rather be safe than sorry but most the time its just razor burn and you did say you were young so i wouldnt jump to conclusions. just wait dont shave and see how it goes! Hope it helps! Genital herpes aren't really bumps. It is more like an open sore. The bumps could be caused by a lot of things including heat (like a heat rash). I don't think you have anything to worry about. Try using some powder and see if that doesn't help with those bumps. :)

hey! girls get that when they shave there sometimes. but you said you dont shave often? well, when you do...use shaving gel and try to do it out of the shower so the water doesnt rinse it away...and kind of dry the area before doing it. thats all i can say. im not sure. and if your not sexually active...i dont hink ou can get it. kay, get back to me and send one to the inbox. much love, god luck...-erica

If no guy has touched you down there and it cant be razor burn, I really doubt its something serious. It could be a rash or reaction to some type of soap or body wash?? But its better to be safe than sorry so if dosent go away in a couple days I would schedule an appointment with a doctor or dermotoligist! Dont worry about the embarassment part, its true you might feel awkward for 10 or some minutes but if it something serious and you dont get it checked out, the consiquences will be way worse! good luck!!!
