Cocoa butter will help them fade a little but that mostly helps acne scars or just little scratches. If you are talking HUGE scars like thick & deep, then nothing will really fade them, you just have to let time do its job. Try cocoa butter... but i cant make any promises. Good luck.

Ah, the knee scars. I fell when I was sprinting away from band, and they look like the types of scars you get from surgery... Same shape, location, and size. Anyways...
Neosporin sells a type of temporary scar remover... you just apply it and move on with your day. I think you can buy it at a CVS or other drug store.

Try Maderma. It's a cream that you rub on it every day and it really works. I don't know how old you are, but they have one for kids, too. You could buy it at Walgreens or Walmart, and I used it. It works.

I think coco butter is used more for stretch marks but those are basically scars so yes it probably should work.. good luck! ♥ Dez
