MSN not working

I recently downloaded msn v 7.5 and now I cant change my display picture because it "has encountered an error and needs to close or something", whats going on

Go back and download it again. Something must have happened while you were downloading the first time. No need to uninstall it. It will do it itself when the new one installs. :)

Well, I'm not to great with computers, but I've had plenty of problems with MSN as well-

I sugest uninstalling it, and trying again with the sugested options, and if that still doesn't work, try to download a different vertion of it, such as 7.0, which I'm using now and works fine.
