i am kind of confused cuz like next year there are going to be slow dances and crap like that but isn't slow dancing just rocking back and forth (side to side) ha told you it was a stupid question ha!!!

Well, kind of. "Rocking back and forth" isn't too descriptive, but I'm shore I know what you're talking about. And truthfully.. it's prettie much what you see all the time on television. Generally, the female places both hands on the male's shoulders, while he places his hands on her hips. Music plays, and they slowly sway from side to side by moving their hips and taking little steps. I suppose I can see how you might think this SEEMS dumb, but it can be a very personal and meaningful moment. =]

well technically, it is just rocking side to side. but if you just do it freestyle, with no rythem and no emotion, its gonna look and feel awkward. so learn to do it right. thats my brilliant advice, good luck.
