on AIM is there a was for you to talk to a person while having an away message up?


thx if you know away...it doesnt matter if you dont :)

Yes there is but you can't do it with orndinary AIM you have to upgrade to 5.9, and to do that you go to www.aim.com then they will have a column of downloads and pick what you have windows, mac, pc and then click it then it will come up with a screen, ethier upgrade or download you clikc upgrade the when the little thing comes up you pick save instead of run..then it will come up where you want to save you can save it anywhere but just save it as 5.9 AIM. Then it will come up with this whole setup thing...read it and argee and clcik yes and then restart your computer. Then when you go to sign on go on your buddylist where it says setup click the little + and - sign then click prefrences and alonge the side it has Away Messages and at the very top it says when away....Allow the sending of Messages check the box hit ok and apply...Glad i helped
