I dont kno why I should keep living my life I feel like my life is no longer important and that I can never make a difference in the world. And that if I cant why live. I would never comit sicide tho or even think bout it because I fear a painful death and not going to heaven but I am so self consious and hve a low self esteem. Lots of things are goin on in my life that are causing me to hve a very high depression level and Iam ver stressed out. Ive takin all the tests on the internet and Iam severe for all the depression and stressed tests. Iam only 13 and a female and that worries me. Iam also very consious about my weight. How can I lose some wait w/o a crash diet and how can I feel better about myself and take care of my depression and stress???

I know how you feel. But you're only 13 and you can't really do much to make a difference to the world right now, maybe you could start off little by volunteering around your neighborhood. As for your self esteem, you need to first stop comparing yourself to others. Bodies come in all shapes and sizes and you're probably going through puberty so it is normal to feel overweight. Just look in the mirror, and say, "I am beautiful, I am smart, I am fun." That always works for me.I wouldn't really reccomned trying Depression Medications because I've read many articles about the serious side effects on them. Just try to relax, and be happy your alive. Also Try keeping a journal to write your thoughts in. But I'm glad that you have decided to do something in order to lose weight. Heres some information on how to lose weight.
For Nutrition, you should eat light, such as fruit, vegetables, crackers, fish, tofu, and deli (white) meats. Stay away from too much dairy or red meat though! And as far as exercise goes, try to find a personal work out plan that suits your body, depending on what muscles you want to tone up. For example: Obviously if you want to tone your abs, do situps every day. Below are some websites on nutrition and exercise.
