Well. People usually like to fool around before they have sex. They dont just whip off their clothes and get to work. haha. They do what is called foreplay, which makes the vagina secrete a liquid [ cum ] which is also known as lube. When that happens, it makes it easier to slide the penis into the vagina. This can only happen though if the penis is hard, because if it wasnt then it just couldnt happen. =)
