Is it any different if I'm a guy? I know you said the nurturing state is normal for girls, what about guys?

Actually guys fall into this state a little later than girls. So that could be what's happening to you. My boyfriend never wanted to have kids until about 16 and suddenly he wanted to. I honestly think there is nothing to worry about. It's natural and who knows, you could change your mind a million times between now and then.
