okay, i do not understand how you get songs on to your ipod! do you have to do it on the computer or is there another way! please help me! i want to know how to get it on the ipod so i know if i should buy one or not.
Number one: Put the CD that came with it into your computer, and install it. This will put iTunes on your computer. From there, open up iTunes, plug in the iPod, go to the music store, search for a song, and press "buy."
Number two: Install iTunes, plug in the iPod, and put a CD into the disk drive. Press the "import to iTunes" button and you can then get songs from the CD onto your iPod.

xo_jenna_respects_ox answered Saturday August 13 2005, 11:16 pm: Once you get your ipod, it tells you how to get the songs. You go on appleipod.com and you download songs for 99 cents each. Then you have this thing you download this itunes thing and you plug your ipod to your computer. then the songs are downloaded onto your ipod. it tells you all on the papers. hope i helped.
oxipreferpreppyox answered Saturday August 13 2005, 11:14 pm: Yes, you put them on through your computer. It's really easy. You connect a cord into your computer that also connects to your iPod. You open iTunes, and it will tell you not to disconnect your iPod. And it will just automatically put all the songs you've checked onto your iPod. It's easy. I would definitely recommend purchasing one. It also tells you what to do in the packet that comes with the iPod, so that makes it even simpler. If you mean 'can you only use music that you got from the computer', then no, you can upload music from CDs onto iTunes as well.
