Hair...
do layers grow faster than hair? i think my hair grows a little over a half an inch a month..well..im desprately waiting for my short layers to grow out (the short layers are above my ear,the medium layers are about a half inch lower than my ear,and then there's the regular length of hair) (which is thin becuase of the layers)If my hair grows a little over a half an inch a month,how long would it take for the medium lengthed hair to get to my sholders? and one more question which is very important-- when my medium layers grow to the when of my sholders,and my short layers grow to somewhere in the middle of my ear,and my regualr hair down to the middle of my back or something...will my hair look different? or will it look exactly the same but longer? please help!!

hay girl!! okay first off an easy, quick way to get rid of layers would be cut the regular length of hair off to wear all you have is the layers but they are now your regular hair.. your hair will look thicker, fuller, and healthier this a way.. and also when it grows that half inch every month it will grow together and you can eventually have your hair to your shoulders and it will be all one length... i know you might not wanna take advice like this from someone you dont know... but my mom is a retired hairdresser and my cousin is a hairdresser/cosmotologist! so yeah i do kinda know what im talkin bout! ;) but i completely understand if you dont wanna do something that drastic... like cutting your hair that short... n that case you can maybe not cut all your regular hair off just say halfway between your medium layer... if that makes any sense? sorry i know thats confusing but like instead of cutting it all the way until all ya got is the two layers you just would cut it to where you got like 2 inches of hair then the medium layers and then the short layers.. im so sorry this is soo long.. but hope everything turns out good for ya!! good luck! ;)

haha oh my... hun your hair will grow when it grows. of course it will look different cause its getting longer. it might not look at cute or as good as it was when it was shorter or it might even look better. who knows. but yes because its getting longer it will look a wee bit different. and who knows how long it takes for your hair to get to your shoulders, no one can answer that. when it gets there it gets there. 8-|

ok heres my 2 cents. i got layers like a 2 years ago and they were pretty short like your short ones and they took a long time for it to grow all the way out to my sholders. if you think theyre noticable then change your hair cut...youve just got to give it time
