The site is just switching over to a new server. That's all. Everything is fine and dandy and fixed now. It's a faster server, nothing to be too concerned about.

The site is just going to be moved to another server, and will be under management of a fellow advicenator, DangerNerd. The only changes to the site will be improvements, and everything will pretty much remain the same.

Here's my answer from another, similar question.
"Since you're not a moderator on this site, there is a thread that mentions this. It will still be the same URL and site, just a new and better server that a columnist provided."
It takes a while to switch servers.
